Meet Your Therapist

Lauren Diaz is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and EMDR consultant-in-training.

Lauren is a warm and compassionate therapist with extensive experience supporting adults navigating trauma, complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety, and depression. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

 

With over 14 years in the mental health field, Lauren is dedicated to empowering clients to overcome challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. She believes in a collaborative therapeutic process—recognizing each client as the expert in their own life—and provides a safe, gentle, and nonjudgmental space for healing.

 

Lauren’s approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing on a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. Her training includes EMDR (including advanced EMDR trainings), Structural Dissociation Theory, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR, Level 3), Ego State Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is also a provider of ILF Neurofeedback therapy.

 

Grounded in the understanding that trauma affects both the mind and body, Lauren takes a holistic approach that addresses not only symptoms but also the underlying root causes. This method fosters deep, lasting healing and helps clients reconnect with their resilience and sense of self.

 

Her professional background includes work in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings with diverse populations. Lauren is passionate about helping clients explore the connection between their past experiences and present struggles, guiding them toward greater self-awareness, strength, and overall well-being.
