EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people heal from the emotional distress caused by traumatic or overwhelming experiences. It works by using guided eye movements or other forms of dual attention stimuli to help the brain reprocess difficult memories, reducing their emotional intensity and impact. Over time, EMDR can help individuals feel less triggered by the past, gain new perspective, and move forward with a greater sense of calm and resilience.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. By learning practical skills and strategies, clients can better manage anxiety, depression, and other challenges, improve coping skills, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s difficulties.

DBR

Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) is a gentle, trauma-focused therapy that works with the brain’s natural processes to resolve the deep-seated effects of traumatic experiences. It focuses on the body’s instinctive responses to threat, helping clients process the underlying tension and emotional pain stored in the nervous system. By addressing these core reactions at their source, DBR allows for the safe release of trauma, leading to lasting healing, reduced symptoms, and a greater sense of calm and stability.

DBT

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and reduce self-destructive behaviors. It combines strategies for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, giving clients practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater balance, resilience, and self-awareness.

Structural Dissociation Theory

Structural Dissociation Theory is a framework for understanding how the mind responds to trauma. It explains how overwhelming experiences can lead to different parts of the self holding separate memories, emotions, or behaviors. Understanding this helps guide trauma-focused therapy, allowing clients to integrate these parts, process past experiences safely, and achieve greater emotional balance and healing.

Infra-Low Frequency Neurofeedback

ILF Neurofeedback (Othmer Method)  is a gentle, non-invasive brain training method that helps the nervous system become more balanced and regulated. Using advanced technology, it provides real-time feedback to the brain, allowing it to adjust its own activity and improve self-regulation. Over time, this can reduce symptoms such as anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, and the effects of trauma, while supporting greater calm, focus, and emotional resilience.
